6 Youngest Leaders In History

When Sebastian Kurz became the Foreign Minister of Austria in 2013, he made a history. At the age of 27, he was the youngest Foreign Minister of Europe. Now after four years, Kurz has been elected the Chancellor of Austria. Which has made him another record builder for being the youngest head of state in the world.Last Sunday in the Austrian general election, Austrian People’s Party (OVP) led by Sebastian Kurz won majority seats in parliament with 31% vote shares. It paves the way for 31 years old Kurz to become the youngest leader in the world. Sebastian Kurz, who is named ‘Wunderwuzzi’ (wonder boy) by his supporters was the chairman of his party’s youth wing just 8 years ago.

Emmanuel Macron

When in May this year Emmanuel Macron won the French presidential election, France got it’s youngest president ever in history. Just three years ago, Macron was unknown to most of his countrymen and one year ago he was not even any political party member. But now after Napoleon, Macro aged 39 is the youngest leader of France.

Kim Jong Un

King Oyo

Now the youngest of all youngests. Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi was the king of Toro state of western Uganda. He is known to outside world as King Oyo. He ascended the throne at the age of only 3! Death of his father King Olimi III in 1995 made child Oyo the youngest monarch ever. However till he became 18, an advisory council ruled Toro on behalf of him. The young king is currently 25 years old.
